Director General Chamindry Saparamadu highlighted at the Asia-Pacific Leave No One Behind Meeting how Sri Lanka's Voluntary National Review improved SDG integration in national planning, budgeting, and financing.

Speaking during the Asia- Pacific Leave No One Behind Meeting convened by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (ESCAP), the Director General of Sustainable Development Council, Chamindry Saparamadu explained how Sri Lanka "s Voluntary National Review enhanced integration of SDG s in national planning, budgeting and financing processes through the development of SDG progress dashboard, budget coding and tagging etc.

The regional LNOB meeting is convened in parallel to the 11th Asia Pacific Forum on SDG s in Bangkok, Thailand to strengthen VNRs through peer learning and experience sharing.
