Knowledge Sharing Session with NSBM Green University

The Sustainable Development Council (SDCSL) has the vision to drive Sri Lanka towards a sustainably developed nation through education, research and capacity building. At present, SDCSL engages with various academic and higher learning institutions to promote sustainability education, research and innovation for Sustainable Development in Sri Lanka.
On the invitation of the  NSBM Green University, a knowledge sharing session was successfully conducted for the academic members on 23rd February 2022 at the NSBM premises.
The session aimed at exchanging knowledge and sharing information regarding the SDG implementation process, recent initiatives of the government, SDG data governance and management system, targets and indicators for measuring university sustainability as well as eco-business and corporate sustainability approaches and practices. 
The sessions were conducted by Ms. Chamindry Saparamadu (Director General, Sustainable Development Council), Dr. Sampath Wahala (Chairman, Sri Lanka Accreditation Board/ Senior Lecturer, University of Sabaragamuwa) and Ms. Sheron Hewawaduge (Assistant Director, Sustainable Development Council).
