Sri Lanka’s 2nd Voluntary National Review (VNR) on SDG Implementation -2022

A Focus Group Discussion was successfully conducted today with Sri Lanka’s multilateral development partners on the status of SDG implementation in Sri Lanka focusing particularly on integrated planning processes, data ecosystem, financing for SDGs, as well as multi-stakeholder partnerships to achieve the SDGs.
The discussion was attended by the UN Resident Coordinator Hanna Singer and heads and other senior representatives of the UN agencies in Sri Lanka including UNDP Sri Lanka, Asian Development Bank (ADB), WHO Sri Lanka, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), WFP Sri Lanka, UNICEF Sri Lanka, UNFPA Sri Lanka, International Labor Organization (ILO), International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) among others as well as other partners such as International Water Management Institute (IWMI). 
The discussion was convened conducted by the Sustainable Development Council of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the UN Resident Coordinators Office in Sri Lanka.
