The Global Sustainability Awards 2025 by ICSG brought together global leaders, visionaries, and changemakers to honor businesses, industries, and cities for their outstanding sustainability practices aligned with the #SDGs

The Global Sustainability Awards 2025 organized by the International Conference on Sustainable Globalization (ICSG) was successfully held on Saturday11th January with the participation of Mr. Mahinda Siriwardhane, Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development as the Chief Guest and Ms. Chamindry Saparamadu, Director General of the Sustainable Development Council as the Guest of Honor.

The ICSG Global Sustainability Awards recognized and honored the contributions of Businesses, Industries and Cities worldwide for their excellence in sustainability practices aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

ICSG is a collaborative initiative involving experts from the United States, Germany, Russia, India, South Africa, and other nations and connects academia, industry, and administration, fostering partnerships aligned with the SDGs.

Speakers at the event, the Conference Chair Dr. Abey Kuruvilla from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside, USA, the Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Mahinda Siriwardhane, the Director General of SDC, Chamindry Saparamadu, Conference Review Chair, Dr. Hedda Sander from the Ostfalia University Germany and Prof. Terry McGovern from the University of Wisconsin– Parkside, USA collectively emphasized the importance of embracing transformations transcending sectoral boundaries and multi-stakeholder engagement to accelerate progress towards the SDGs.
