A delegation from the World Food Programme

A delegation from the World Food Programme (WFP) led by Country Director Abdur Rahim Siddiqui held discussions with the Director-General and officials of the Sustainable Development Council to identify national priorities in the formulation of the next multi-year Country Programme Document. The Sustainable Development Council reaffirmed the need to place a stronger emphasis on more effective nutrition targeting, nutrition education and sustainable food systems including inclusive business models in the food sector.
