A knowledge session for Members of Parliament on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Sri Lanka's progress on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the challenges and opportunities to accelerate progress was conducted by the Sustainable Development Council yesterday inside the Parliament Premises.

The session was organized in collaboration with the Public Service Division of the Department of Communication and the Department of Legislative Services.

It was presided by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Ajith Rajapakse and was also attended by Deputy Secretary General of Parliament, Chaminda Kularathne.

The Session was attended by Members of Parliament from different political parties represented in Parliament and the technical presentation was made by the Director General of Sustainable Development Council, Chamindry Saparamadu.
