The Coca-Cola System in Sri Lanka presented its first Sustainability Performance Disclosure Report to the Director-General of the Sustainable Development Council (SDC), Ms. Chamindry Sapramadu and the staff at the SDC office recently. The Report communicates the efforts taken by Coca-Cola Sri Lanka towards an inclusive, sustainable and resilient future and the impacts of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
The Sustainability & CSR initiatives of Coca-Cola Sri Lanka as well as their future plans on sustainability engagement were discussed including the importance of Sustainable Business Models and Multi-stakeholder Partnerships in achieving the SDGs. Coca-Cola Sri Lanka expressed its interest and willingness to collaborate with SDCSL to take the sustainable development agenda forward.
Mr. Pankaj Sinha- Managing Director of Coca-Cola Sri Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Lakshan Madurasinghe- Regional Lead and Ms. Thamari Senanayake- Director of Public Affairs, Communication & Sustainability Division of Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd., participated at this event.
