Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was adopted by all United Nations Member States, in 2015. The fifteen-year plan is a worldwide approach that aims to bring an end to poverty, improve opportunities for people across the world and protect the environment in the long-term.

These three core areas: Economic Growth, Social Inclusion and Environmental Protection are interdependent and must be addressed together. In order to do so, Agenda 2030 presents the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To achieve these goals, we must work hand in hand. Agenda 2030 cannot be achieved without countries working together peacefully.

Steady progress was recorded in the first five years but to deliver the desired results by 2030, we need to come together, speed up our efforts and make it a decade of action.
